570 Years of Beer Tradition
Good beer had been brewed in Rakovník even several centuries before it was mentioned in writing for the very first time in 1454. Nowadays, the brewing tradition is upheld by Traditional Brewery in Rakovník, which is one of the few independent breweries in the Czech Republic. We brew our beers using only Czech raw materials and the Brewery has the right to mark its beers with PGI Czech BEER. We use traditional Czech technology of open fermentation and lagering of beer in horizontal lager tanks for several weeks. This year we celebrate the 570th anniversary of beer tradition in Rakovník and let's celebrate with us!
