Let's celebrate Bock Beer Day! Dating back to the fourteenth century, this dark lager was originally brewed in the northern town of Einbeck, Germany. During the seventeenth century, when bock beer traveled south to the city of Munich, the subtle differences in language meant that Bavarians started to mispronounce the beer “ein bock” instead of “Einbeck.” Cheers to learning more about this incredible style!
